Harris Computer, based in Toronto Ontario, is an industry leader in Customer Information System software for water, gas, and electric utilities. A subsidiary of Harris, Systems & Software (S&S), contracted with Solari to completely overhaul its user documentation. The goal was to make the information more usable and accurate. Over the course of the contract, Rich designed and wrote a number of proprietary documents for S&S customers:

• Software user guides
• Training materials
• Marketing materials
• Customized materials for individual utilities

Rich also participated in software interface design meetings to better ensure usability and the user experience.
